It's turned out that I don't have a ticket for the festival after all.
And at this point I am not really incllined to shell out a bunch of cash only to have to deal with amateur night inside the venue.
Instead I've decided to donate the $100 the scalpers are charging to The Kokua Foundation to support what Jack's trying to do for our kids here in Hawaii.
So... I thought I'd call a not-so-impromtu HOOP SESSION in the park outside the show.
I've been told that you can hear the music just as well behind the shell, only minus all the yuppies and tourists.
Anybody with me!?!!!!
I'm thinking I'll head down to Kapiolani Park at 2 or 3PM
and stay until the show lets out.
Look for the hoopers or else call me tomrrow
for a more specific location.
